How to Write Business Plans!
With it you will set objectives, establish priorities and project cash flow. Don’t miss this important step when starting your home candle business. Lets Learn How To Write Business Plans!Take a deep breath and don’t worry, it’s easy once you know how. Develop a business plan once, update it regularly and it will pay off IN SPADES for the life of your candle business! Let’s break it down... It’s less intimidating if you write it one section at a time. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY… This is the first part you see but it’ll be the last bit you write. It’ll just be a page or so of highlights from the rest of your plan. It can be skipped if the plan is for your personal use. COMPANY DESCRIPTION… What type of company is it going to be… Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, Corporation? Does it have a history and if so what is it? What are your start-up plans and so on. PRODUCT or SERVICES… Tell all about what you are selling. This part should focus heavily on customer benefits. So… not only what is it but what does it do for your customer. Why will they buy it and why will they buy it from YOU! MARKET ANALYSIS… Where are your customers? What do they want? How do you plan to reach your customers? Will you have a store front, website or both? Advertise in newspapers and magazines, online ads, flyers on local bulletin boards? STRATEGY & IMPLEMENTATION… Write down EXACTLY how will you start and run your business. Write it down step by step. Include specific dates and your budget. This will clarify your thinking and help you to set your priorities. MANAGEMENT TEAM… Give the background and strength of your key people. How do you plan to use them and their strengths? Go into detail. If you are the only person in your company that’s OK… then this section is all about you. FINANCIAL PLAN… Where will the money come from? How will it be spent? Think ahead and plan to deal effectively with your cash flow. Show that you plan to reinvest to build your business. And we’re done! That wasn’t so hard was it? Before you know it you’ll be teaching others how to write business plans of their own! Now that you know how to create a business plan put it to good use. Get out there and start selling Candles!
