My story is similar to many, maybe even YOURS. Before I started my home candle business, I was the shipping manager for a large retail company. A good solid job. Nothing special but I enjoyed it and the pay was good.

Yet, I'd always wanted a business of my own. While growing up my father owned his own business. I knew the only way to true wealth and freedom was to work for myself.

My husband and I decided long before I became pregnant that I would stay home with our kids. We wanted to raise and teach our children ourselves. Not pay someone else to raise them for us. So once my daughter was born, I quit my job to stay home with her.

As often happens in such situations we struggled to make ends meet. It was time to make my life-long dream of business ownership a reality. But what kind of business would be a good fit for me and my family?

I needed to find a way to make a great income from home and still have time to spend with my family. I'd read about folks doing just that and I was determined to learn how to make it work for me!

My childhood experiences taught me it would take time, dedication and perseverance to achieve the rewards and lifestyle I desired. There's no substitute for hard work and no such thing as "Get Rich Quick". Anyone who tells you different is trying to rip you off.

I still had no idea that a home based candle business was in store for me! Far from it, I looked into a lot of things, even tried a few with moderate success. These were valuable experiences that helped me learn how to choose the right company, find the right team, build a successful business, and to teach others to do the same.

With these thoughts in mind, l I began my research and quite honestly, haven't stoped. I wanted a business that...
